Changes Coming to Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard

March 22, 2022 by John McDonald

New season two update incoming

Call of Duty: Warzone and Vanguard will be getting some major changes this week as they get hit with a Season Two Reloaded update – this is a sure-fire way to get fans of the franchise excited again. The two titles will be getting separate updates, with a new 12v12 mode coming to Vanguard, while Warzone’s Rebirth Island is getting its biggest update since the game was launched way back when. When are these updates popping up you ask? So, Vanguard’s update will be appearing on the 22nd of March, and Warzone’s will be on the 23rd.

Vanguard’s new 24-player mode will also come with a very large map set in the Alps, and players will have to fight to cross the snowy landscape either on foot, or with the help of new vehicles such as motorbikes, squad vehicles, and tanks. The aim is straightforward, capture the other team’s base and you will win the game, sounds easy, right?

Not only that though because Vanguard will be receiving a refreshed ranking system in this new update, where the best 250 players in the world will enter their own skill division above Challenger. There will also be new ranked rewards that include weapon camouflage, charms, and sprays, so there is a little bit for everyone.

So now, over to Call of Duty: Warzone where Rebirth Island will be getting revamped including Stronghold, and something new called Dock will be added. But no, the fun doesn’t stop there because three modes are being altered as well; Resurgence is receiving a solo mode where players start with an extra life, Payload is getting a new 12v12 player experience, and the new mode called Blood Money, which is a variant of Plunder so we are told.

All you COD fans can now get your teeth stuck into all these new formats that are coming out this week. And to keep you interested that little bit more, Snoop Dogg might also be making an appearance, so watch out for that one.
