Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain Now Bundled With Nvidia GeForce GTX Cards

July 23, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

A free copy of MGS V comes bundled with each purchase of an Nvidia graphics card.

Nvidia has announced that new buyers of its Nvidia GeForce GTX series of graphics cards will receive a free copy of Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain for free on the PC.

For a limited time, purchases of the GTX 980 Ti, 980, 970, 960, and 980/970M laptops will come with a free code of the upcoming game to redeem through Steam.

The new deal replaces Batman: Arkham Knight and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, both of which were previously offered as free games with the graphics card line.

Although it remains to be seen, Nvidia claims that the GeForce GTX is the only graphics card line capable of delivering top-notch graphics with the game.

Metal Gear Solid 5: The Phantom Pain comes out on the PC on September 15, two weeks after its release on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

If you already have a code from a new purchase, you can head on over to the redemption page to redeem it.

Further details can be found here.
