Gauntlet Slayer Edition is Heading to the PS4

July 7, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

The PS4 is set to get Gauntlet.

The co-op classic remake of Gauntlet is coming to the PlayStation 4. Originally released on the PC, the new version of the game is dubbed the Slayer Edition and is priced at $19.99 on the PlayStation Store when it debuts on August 11. The game is currently available as a pre-order title from the store.

Gauntlet, for those not in the know, was one of the first cooperative arcade games ever made, allowing players to select from four fantasy-based character classes. The object of the game is simple: delve through the dungeons, collect gold, and kill monsters.

In this enhanced version of the new Gauntlet, player characters will have new abilities, deal with new monster types, and a bunch of additional features that the developers plan to reveal this month.

We'll keep you updated.
