Techland has announced a six-week campaign titled 'Summer with Dying Light' for the open world zombie game, featuring numerous in-game events designed to make the game "even more exciting".
The campaign begins tomorrow, July 4th, with Spider-Crane, an in-game event which will provide players with unlimited grappling hook shots and reduced fall damage. Spider-Crane kicks off at 08:00 BST/03:00 EST tomorrow morning and will run until 08:00/03:00 on Monday.
Techland will then host a 'Harran Marathon' event next week, details of which have not yet been announced but will presumably involve lots of running.
Summer with Dying Light isn't connected to Techland's #DrinkforDLC promotion, which rewards players who post pictures of themselves drinking water with free DLC. That promotion was created in response to Bungie's Red Bull partnership for Destiny.
