Warhammer: End Times Vermintide Adds Bright Wizard to Roster

July 1, 2015 by Michael Fossbakk

The fifth and final playable character to be revealed.

The Bright Wizard (think pyromancer) Sienna Fuegonasus has been revealed as the fifth and final playable character in the upcoming first-person action game Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide, developer Fatshark announced today.

The Bright Wizard is akin to many other mage or wizard classes found in many role-playing games, but instead of having a variety of schools of magic to choose from, the Bright Wizard only deals in fire. Fuegonasus has a fiery temper to match her combat style of choice and is described as someone with little patience that yearns for the adrenaline rush of seeing things and creatures burn in front of her. Her weapon of choice is the staff with different staves allowing for different styles of combat. However, players must balance damage out with self-immolation when playing as Fuegonasus as she can set herself aflame if she is not careful. If this is the case, players can switch to a secondary weapon, such as the Flaming Sword or Wizard Mace.

Fuegonasus’s backstory is that she was been arrested by the Witch Hunter Victor Saltzpyre (another playable character) for allegedly killing the son of the Burgomeister of Ubersreik and burning down his mill. Saltzpyre has also enlisted the help of State Trooper Markus Kruber of the Empire (another playable character).

Warhammer: End Times – Vermintide will be available later this year for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
