Nintendo has confirmed that Fire Emblem Fates, titled Fire Emblem If in Japan, will be released in the West in 2016 for Nintendo 3DS.
News of the game's release outside Japan came during the platform holder's E3 Digital Event today. Fire Emblem is set to be sold as two games in Japan and Nintendo has announced that it plans to release two different versions of Fire Emblem Fates in the West. The two versions will offers a different side of the campaign, while the alternative (and an additional story) will be available as DLC.
Nintendo released a new trailer for Fire Emblem If last week and we'll add the E3 footage as soon as it becomes available.
