Batman: Arkham Knight’s Nvidia Gameworks Technology Showcased on PC

June 8, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Here’s what the game looks like on the PC.

When you're kicking ass in a room full of bad guys and there's loose notes strewn all about the floor, the last thing you want to be worrying about is having one of those notes fly in your face and cause you to stumble.

Thankfully, Nvidia's Gameworks technology won't affect gameplay, but it will affect how the room I just talked about looks–expect dollar bills to be flying all over the place as Batman does one of his sweeping attacks in Batman: Arkham Knight.

In a newly released Nvidia video, we get to see how Rocksteady's upcoming title integrates Nvidia's Gameworks technology through interactive paper debris and realistic rain effects. It's every bit as impressive as the Hairworks technology CD Projekt Red uses in The Witcher 3.

While you won't need a new Nvidia graphics card to experience the new tech, there's a good chance that it'll cause some slowdown on older cards or AMD cards.

Batman: Arkham Knight will only look this good on the PC. It's also slated for release on the PS4 and Xbox One on June 23.
