New Rainbow Six Siege Trailer Highlights FBI-SWAT Unit

June 4, 2015 by Michael Fossbakk

A teammate for every situation.

Ubisoft released a new trailer for Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege, titled “Inside Rainbow #2 – the FBI-SWAT Unit [US],” Thursday.

As the name would indicate, this trailer focuses on the four members of the FBI-SWAT unit that appears in the game as a playable team. The FBI-SWAT unit is comprised of four people, each with their own unique perk that makes that valuable to the team in different ways.

Eliza “Ash” Cohen is equipped with a custom M120 compact rifle that has a grenade launcher attached to the left side of the gun. Jack “Pulse” Estrada carries a heartbeat sensor that can detect enemy players through walls and other objects. Miles “Castle” Campbell plays things defensively by deploying a portable, bulletproof panel that can block off walls and other openings. If access is what you need, then Jordan “Thermite” Trace is your guy. He carries a device called “Brimstone” that can cut through any metal, creating new ways of traversing the tight corners that are a staple of Rainbow Six Siege level design.

Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege was announced at E3 2014 during Ubisoft’s press conference. It features FPS gameplay in terrorist vs. counter-terrorist scenarios and is scheduled to be released on October 13, 2015 for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
