The Sims 4’s Newcrest Expands Space For Sims For Free

June 4, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

The free update is intended to let you keep your older Sims while you build new ones.

Maxis has announced a much needed expansion to everyone who’s been invested in The Sims 4. Introducing Newcrest, a community with a clean slate.

Quite plainly, Newcrest was made so that Sims players have a new uninhabited space to populate with new Sims. This particularly speaks to the desire from players to keep their current Sims, even though they want to expand with new ones.

Newcrest has room for three neighborhoods, each with five empty lots. You don’t have to put only homes in there, either. Bars, clubs, parks, houses, pools, anything is up for grabs in Newcrest.

Each neighborhood has these lot sizes:

Neighborhood #1:

• 50×40

• 40×30

• 40×30

• 30×30

• 30×20

Neighborhood #2:

• 30×20

• 30×20

• 40×30

• 20×15

• 20×15

Neighborhood #3:

• 30×20

• 30×20

• 30×20

• 40×30

• 40×20

Newcrest will go live for free download on June 11. You can watch the trailer above to see it in action. Are you looking forward to populating Newcrest in your PC or Mac game? Share your thoughts with us in the comments.
