Red Dead Redemption 2 Mod Brings Out A New Cinematic Camera Shortcuts

December 29, 2021 by Dennis Patrick

View cutscenes like never before.

Rockstar Games hasn’t released too many new installments these past few years. However, while fans have been watching the studio release Grand Theft Auto V onto different platform generations, they did offer something else. Not long ago, we finally received a new installment to the beloved Red Dead Redemption franchise. Chances are you’ve already gone through Red Dead Redemption 2. If you plan on going through it again, you might want to take a look at this new mod.

Red Dead Redemption 2 has several mods available. Just like with other popular PC games, mods can be bountiful. However, in particular, one mod is starting to make rounds online. Players might want to check out the new cinematic camera mod. Rockstar Games has developed Red Dead Redemption 2 to be more of a cinematic experience. There are plenty of cutscenes that settle players into a new thrilling mission for the campaign narrative.

However, if you want a new look into the game during these moments, then this mod will give you different shortcuts. Essentially, these shortcuts are mapped onto your keyboard, in which case you can toggle between the different presets. You’ll have the standard developed camera positions for the game along with modified versions. Players can toggle between first and third-person camera positions. There’s also a free cam position, which should hopefully give players a better look at whatever the game scene brings up.

Again, this is a mod, so there could be issues that pop up from time to time. However, if you want a better look into characters or certain scene setups, then this is the mod for you. With that said, if you haven’t played this game yet, Red Dead Redemption 2 is available on PC, PlayStation 4, and lastly, the Xbox One platforms. You can also view our Before You Buy coverage of the game below.
