May 27, 2015 by Michael Fossbakk

None of this information has been confirmed by Microsoft.

A post on video game fan forum Se7en Sins, sourcing user Chr0m3 x MoDz by way of their Twitter account, has revealed unconfirmed information regarding the ways in which Windows 10 devices and Xbox Ones will be able to interact with each other.

If the information is true, players on Xbox One and Windows 10 will be able to communicate with each other through cross-platform party chat and play cross-platform compatible games on Xbox LIVE together. The leak also says that developers will have access to an API that will allow them to “easily” port applications from Windows 8 to Windows 10 to Xbox One and vice versa. No details were provided as to what extent this API would allow developers to port their applications across the three aforementioned Windows platforms.

Third leak: Developers will have an API that will allow them to easily port apps from windows 8 and windows 10 to Xbox One and vice versa.

A final tweet from Chr0m3 x MoDz shows a few screenshots taken of what appears to be the Windows 10 UI, specifically showing features that concern integration and interaction with Xbox One. According to the images, users on Windows 10 will be able to, under the “Windows Toast and Action Center,” see things like friends online, messages, game & party invites, game clips, and achievements that have been unlocked. A “Game bar” is also show and appears to allow users to record and share game clips and screenshots.

This is a big one! Got this off a private contact of mine. These are leaks so take them with a grain of salt. pic.twitter.com/ZC8ABR4KzB

The tweet also shows the Xbox app on Windows 10, which has been shown publicly numerous times.

It is important to note that these leaks have not been confirmed by Microsoft and therefore may not come to fruition as they are described and shown in these tweets, if at all.
