Mad Max’s Latest Trailer Looks Fast and Furious

May 26, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Road Fury this isn’t, but it’s definitely furious.

Post apocalypse fans won't have to wait too long to get their next fill of Mad Max, as Avalanche Studios is developing a title set in the franchise. Today, the studio released a new trailer of the game, which–while it doesn't feature a giant rig with a flame guitarist and drummers–is still pretty 'effing metal.

Much like the recent movie, Max has his Interceptor vehicle stolen at the start of the game. WIth the help of a character named Chumbucket (why wouldn't he have a weird, post-apocalyptic name?) Max must construct a new vehicle capable of surviving the wasteland. You'll need it in the game's open-world environment.

Avalanche Studios' Mad Max game has a lot to live up to after the phenomenal Mad Max: Fury Road took viewers out for a wild ride. Check out the trailer above.

The game comes out for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4 on September 1, 2015.
