We are hyped for E3. The annual trade show has served as an avenue for developers to keep us on the edge of our seats, anticipating their next release.
Xbox chief Phil Spencer confirmed just how long you’d have to stay put for Microsoft’s E3 press conference: 90 minutes. In a follow-up tweet, he said that they still had too much content to fit into 90 minutes, and that he’ll be having a tough time cutting it down because he likes the games they’ll be presenting.
Not that the fans would complain if they go over the time limit. There will be updates on Crackdown and Scalebound. Fans are also expecting the Gears of War remaster, Forza Motorsport 6 and Halo 5: Guardians to be shown during the presscon. Microsoft is promising in-depth looks at games they’ve already announced, as well as trailers of unannounced titles that they’ll be releasing starting this year. They’ve also mentioned that they’ll be unveiling an exclusive new first-party IP that isn’t a military-themed shooter or racing game, and Spencer has said that they’re aiming to have this year’s E3 be their “best 1st party content year ever.” Sounds like they’re pretty excited to show us what they’ve been working on.
There’s going to be plenty to see, plenty to be excited about. Microsoft’s E3 Press Conference will be streamed live on Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Xbox.com on June 15th starting at 5:30pm BST.
