Destiny: House of Wolves Brings Higher Chances of Rare and Exotic Weapons and Armor

For people who love the game, an expansion is the promise of more awesome content. Destiny players seem pretty hyped for the House of Wolves expansion, and have taken to the Crucible. In the rush to get some last minute practice in, one lucky player has found himself an owner of a House of Wolves Legendary weapon drop.

House of Wolves brings with it a new hub located in the Reef, where players can get more done. The addition of the Trials of Osiris and the Prison of Elders add new challenges for players to conquer. There will be vendors to help you along by providing you with what you need, as with Petra and Queen’s Wrath. Players will have to put in some work, since Prison of Elders can only be unlocked through progress with story missions.

The Trials of Osiris is a new weekend event, pitting players against one another. It’s a 3v3 setup that will take place on a small map, and there are ways to make wins a little easier. Victories here count toward your Trials of Osiris win streak, which will in turn unlock better items from the vendor in the Reef.

Knowing the challenges that House of Wolves will bring, that Legendary weapon is starting to seem like it might not be so epic in the long run, but it’s a good start. The chances of getting rarer weapons and armor based on how high you finish have been increased, and after seeing the rumored legendary and exotic weapons and armor, everyone's probably wishing those chances would be just a little higher still.
