Dying Light 2 Stay Human Offers New Gameplay Footage

December 3, 2021 by Dennis Patrick

Here’s what the game looks like a couple of months before release.

One of the anticipated video games that were slated to launch this year was Techland’s Dying Light 2 Stay Human. Unfortunately, that game got delayed and pushed into 2022. So while we know that the game has recently gone gold, we’re still unable to get our hands on a copy until February 4, 2022. With that said, the developers are giving fans a bit more inside look at the gameplay.

Techland has been firing off several new video uploads to showcase the game and highlight specific features. While they are still polishing the game, we are given a small video of what Dying Light 2 Stay Human looks like today. We’re just a couple of months away from its launch, so it’s a good indicator of what the game will more or less look like when it releases. With that said, there is still work being done behind the scenes. As mentioned, the developers have reached gold status, but even going gold doesn’t mean the studio is done. Instead, this is still a period where developers can polish and prepare a day one patch.

The latest Dying 2 Know video upload gives players a new quest mission to watch. Unfortunately, it’s not a complete walkthrough. Instead, bits and pieces are missing. However, we can gather that the protagonist has to restore some power into the city, which is no easy task. There are zombies to battle against, factions that come into play, and a tough decision to make. Regardless, players get a good look at what that specific mission will entail when they reach it.

Fortunately, you’re perfectly fine if you haven’t played Dying Light and are interested in the sequel. Players can dive into this game without having played the first game. In fact, this game takes place several years after the events of the first installment. We have brand new characters and a new setting, so don’t be discouraged in picking this game up just because you haven’t gone back to play the first installment. As mentioned, Dying Light 2 Stay Human comes out on February 4, 2022. When the game does release, you’ll be able to pick up a copy for the PC, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch platforms.
