Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 got announced early last month and fans have been rabid for any news pertinent to the game. While the situation has been mostly slim pickings, there is starting to be a bit more light shed on the Black Ops realm.
Studio design director David Vonderhaar recently made a series of tweets in response to fan questions. In these tweets, he revealed that Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 will be playable at this year's E3 Expo, which takes place next month.
You will be able to play the Beta at home. e3/Gamescom something else entirely.
E3 is alpha. Beta is beta. Gamescom is “nearly finished.”
Furthermore, he's revealed that a beta will be available for Gamescom, which occurs in September of this year. While E3 attendees will get the opportunity to experience the game before everyone else, the beta won't be too far behind.
