If you're familiar with the Magicka series, then you'll know that the first entry into the franchise was a major hit. The fast-paced gameplay offered gamers hours of fun and games. However, the series has been off the radar since 2011. All that's going to change on May 26, when Magicka 2 releases.
Magicka 2 will feature a very robust cooperative play system. Developer Paradox Interactive wants to make sure you know about it. In a new trailer for Magicka 2, the developer details this system in a particularly interesting way: a completely unscripted trailer featuring gameplay from the title.
We're not quite sure what to make of this trailer. It's definitely more innovative than most game marketing material, as it takes an in-game scenario and utilizes it in an effort to churn consumer interest. It's probably better if you watch it and make any final judgments for yourself.
