Dying Light Developer Tools to Receive Multiplayer Support, Terrain Generation and More

April 27, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Dying Light’s dev tools are getting even better.

Update: In collaboration with Nvidia, Techland also announced the ‘Beyond Dying Light’ contest.  All users of the Dying Light Developer Tools who upload and submit their openly available maps by May 11, 2015 have a chance to win an ASUS GTX 980 Strix graphics card and exclusive Dying Light merch. Contest details and the submission form can be found here.

Dying Light developer Techland has announced plans to add more support to the game's development toolkit, which they released not too long ago to players.

The developer tools allow players to create all manner of stuff in the game, including the ability to mod their own missions into the game.

Techland released a video today announcing incoming updates, which include terrain creation and editing, importing custom models, and even the addition of multiplayer support.

Released at the start of the month, players are able to create and share their creations through the Steam Workshop.
