GTA 5: Find New Thrills With The Taxi Driver AI Challenge

April 24, 2015 by Ryan Parreno

It’s a challenge you won’t have direct control over, but you’ll love it this way.

Are you looking for a new thrill in Grand Theft Auto 5? We suggest you take the Taxi Driver AI Challenge. Fans are raving over this amazing new fanmade game within the game.

What you do is set a route (you can see it in the map below) and call a cab. Because of the way the taxi driver AI has been set, the taxi will take a considerably long path, even though a clear shortcut is available. This longer path is strewn with natural dangers and challenges, with rocks at every step of the way.

That isn’t the challenge though, at least not yet. An atypically dangerous taxi ride is still just a taxi ride.

No, the key to really raising the difficulty level is telling the driver to hurry up. Once you get the challenge setup, it will be a Peruvian Road of Death, at a stressful 50 MPH.

Our source claims the success rate for taxi drivers is 10 %, at best.

Now, here’s some extra notes we’ve collected from fans:

Ø  You can play this game in both Grand Theft Auto 5 andGrand Theft Auto Online.

Ø  There are rabbits and cats in the path, and they spawn in the same locations. If you’re one of those gamers who don’t enjoy simulating animal violence, this challenge is probably not for you.

Ø  This mode is perfect for Video Editor, but you may have already thought that.

Ø  One fan managed to take the challenge just after activating the ‘don’t take the suitcase’ event. In this scenario, he was chased down by men with guns and the taxi driver jumped off the car and ran off.

Ø  If you make it and don’t want to kill the driver, here’s how you can give him a thumbs up:

Interaction Menu -> Actions -> Scroll left/right until you find "Thumbs Up".
