Yoshi’s Wooly World amiibo bundles have appeared all of a sudden on Nintendo’s UK site, and are now available for preorder.
The game’s release is already scheduled for Europe, this coming June 26, while its US and Japanese schedules are tentatively planned for Q34 2015.
There are bundles for a disc copy alongside one of the knit Yoshi amiibo, coming in green, pink, and blue, as well as a special smaller green Yoshi amiibo. There is also a bundle with the game, a green Yoshi amiibo, and the Super Smash Bros Wii U pack, which itself bundles the original 8 GB Wii U with a disc copy ofSuper Smash Bros for Wii U.
Lastly, there is a bundle with the game and all three regular sized Yoshi amiibo with each color. This bundle is already sold out, so it seems this one will be the most anticipated bundle when it releases in the US as well. It is worth noting that each Yoshi amiibo does exactly the same thing, with only one amiibo usable in two player, as a 2nd player AI. It is safe to assume collectors, and probably scalpers, bought out these bundles.
The site only allows one preorder per customer, so Nintendo may still be limiting stocks for amiibo upon release. While this is sure to disappoint fans, sustained high sales of amiibo should prod them to manufacture more units for this and other rare amiibo later.
