Create Your Own Apocalypse: Dying Light Mod Tools Now Available for Download

April 14, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

Dying Light’s modding tools are now available for the PC.

Techland's developer tools for Dying Light are now available for the PC version of the game, the platform to which they are exclusive to. The new developer tools allow players to create new areas and scenarios for other players to enjoy.

The tools are incredibly versatile, allowing players to create specific objectives to scripting new dialogue for completely custom missions in the game. Everything you create can be shared through the Steam Workshop.

Releasing alongside the developer tools is a video trailer showcasing what the editor has to offer would-be modders. However, if you really want to get to grips with the editor, you should check out the six-part tutorial released by Techland.

You can find the Dying Light Developer Tools in your Steam Library, listed under the Tools menu.

There are already a couple of mods available for the game, which you can check out on its Steam Workshop page.

Dying Light is out for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4. The tools are exclusive to the PC version of the game.
