A new radio station is being added into the PC version of Grand Theft Auto 5, along with a soundtrack album. They come from GTA 5 score composers The Alchemist & Oh No.
Titled The Alchemist and Oh No Present: Welcome to Los Santos, the new music collection is debuting with the PC version of GTA 5 on April 14, with a full standalone album to be released on April 21 from Mass Appeal Records.
Welcome to Los Santos features new music inspired by GTA 5's original score, composer by The Alchemist and Oh No in partnership with Woody JAckson and Tangerine Dream to create what Rockstar calls a "uniquely ambitious album."
"The Alchemist and Oh No weave together a musical journey that covers every corner of the fictional world of Grand Theft Auto V and features guests from across the musical spectrum – including Earl Sweatshirt, Little Dragon, Phantogram, Freddie Gibbs, Popcaan, Killer Mike, Tunde Adebimpe and Samuel T. Herring (from Future Islands)."
The music from the album will appear on the PC version of the game with a new radio station called "The Lab" that's being added to the Los Santos radio dial. The album tracks will also be made available in the Rockstar Editor for PC as soundtracks for your original custom videos.
Elsewhere, a source close to Rockstar has teased that it may be working on a story DLC for the game.
