Video game streaming service Twitch has announced TwitchCon during an official site stream. The convention will revolve around the service and has been scheduled for September 25th and 26th in San Francisco.
TwitchCon is aimed at the Twitch community of viewers, streamers, partners, and broadcasters. Details on exactly what to expect are sparse, but we should be getting more info in the not too distant future.
“Twitch broadcasters have the most passionate fans, so we want to create an amazing experience where they can come together in person,” Twitch CEO Emmett Shear commented.
Last year, Twitch was acquired by Amazon for $970 million.
