The Art of Evolve to Provide Insight into the Making of the Game

January 28, 2015 by Ian Miles Cheong

The art book ‘The Art of Evolve’ will provide plenty of insight into the game’s development.

With Evolve set for release early next month, Turtle Rock Studios and 2K Games have teamed up with Insight Editions to produce an art book of the highly anticipated title.

Set to coincide with the release of the game on February 10, the art book—titled The Art of Evolve—offers a comprehensive behind-the-scenes look at the game and features never-before-seen developmental art, including monster designs and character concepts.

The book is designed to take readers through the creation of the game every step of the way, packing hundreds of sketches, character illustrations, environment art, and more, along. It also comes with commentary from the game’s many artists and developers, providing a glimpse into the creation of the game.

Fans of Turtle Rock’s work and game development in general will probably want to pick it up. The hardbound book retails for $45.00 (although you can pick it up for a lot less on Amazon) at any book retailer.
