Quantic Dream has dropped a teaser for a new project which seems connected to Fahrenheit, also known as Indigo Prophecy.
Fahrenheit, renamed Indigo Prophecy for its US release in 2005 to avoid confusion with film Fahrenheit 9/11, is arguably the game that put David Cage and his company Quantic Dreams on the map. The game was both a pioneering action adventure interactive game and an engrossing paranormal thriller. Playing several characters, including clairvoyant Lucas Kane, Lt Carla Valenti, and others, you uncover a centuries old conspiracy that will determine the future of the world. The game was released DRM-free in GOGcom in 2011.
The teaser has appeared in domain achillingfeeling.com. If you go there now, you will see this image:
The image looks very similar to the original box art for the game upon release:
Furthermore, among the scribbles are the words ‘Guilt is a chilling feeling’, as well as the word prophecy.
If we’re lucky, Quantic Dream may be teasing an entirely new game, a sequel or prequel to the original. If we’re not lucky, this may be yet another remaster of an older game.
