Dragon Age Inquisition Multiplayer Tips

Here are some quick tips to Dragon Age Inquisition’s multiplayer. Bioware picked up advice from people all around the studio.

Here are some quick tips to Dragon Age Inquisition’s multiplayer. Bioware picked up advice from people all around the studio.

Before you start, you need to know:

·         Multiplayer is four player coop dungeon crawling. Everyone shares XP and gold. You work together, marking targets with callouts and communicating with others to coordinate.

·         Under multiplayer, you play a character with a specific class, with more specialized skill sets than the Inquisitor does. You need to play to each class’ strengths. In brief, warriors are tanks, rogues are ranged attackers, and mages play support.

·         You will want to have one class each in your party, so that the full range of tactical options and abilities is available.

·         Multiplayer has no tactical camera.

·         Before you get to the action, make sure to enter the Store tile in the menu to grab your free Inquisition Surplus Crate, than equip it in the Inventory tile.

Before a match begins:

·         Check your loadout.

·         Check your potions.

·         Save any Jar of Bees for the last boss fights.

·         Confirm and equip if you have new items, armor, or weapons.

·         Of course, as you replace your weapons and items, you should salvage low level items. You can use the materials to craft upgrades or unlock characters via Armor Crafting.

And finally, some things to remember out in the field:

·         Play your role.

·         Watch for enemy archers.

·         Work together and stick together.

·         One particularly for the new multiplayer DLC: you can use them to distract your enemies to get quick hits in. Just be careful they don’t go after you too.
