Dragon Age: Inquisition won Game of the Year at The Game Awards almost a week ago. While Dragon Age: Inquisition might not have achieved the grand heights of The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, it's still no less a masterclass in RPG development. Though, let's be honest: Bioware has had a lot of practice.
Dragon Age: Inquisition features a very cool tarot card system, which basically acts as in-game trophies or achievements. For instance, you can acquire certain tarot cards for romancing characters in the game. This provides a little extra incentive to go out of your way in the quest for pixelated love.
The Dragon Age: Inquisition wiki has a pretty awesome description for each tarot card, so we thought it'd be cool to share it here:
–Blackwall – The Chariot (struggle, conflict but also triumph over adversity)
– Cole – The Moon (uncertainty, illusion, hidden dangers)
– Cassandra – Death (changes, a necessary end of the old with promises of renewal, closing a chapter)
– Solas – The Hermit (patience, solitude, a time for meditation, soul searching)
– Varric – The Wheel of Fortune (destiny, luck, solving problems)
– Vivienne – The High Priestess (intuition, secrets, wisdom)
– Dorian – The Magician (skill, initiative, creativity)
– Sera – The Fool (the beginning of a journey, taking chances, brash impulsiveness)
– Iron Bull – The Devil (inhibitions, fear blocking positive energy, temptation)
