Square Enix Reveals Theatrhythm Dragon Quest

December 10, 2014 by Tony Ponce

Set to release in Japan on March 26, 2015.

Theatrhythm Final Fantasy: Curtain Call may have been the end of the Final Fantasy franchise's musical celebration, but that was but a single stop on this Theatrhyhtm train. Square Enix has just announced the next series to go the rhythm route: Dragon Quest!

Aside from a Japanese release date announcement of March 26, 2015, no other details regarding Theatrhythm Dragon Quest have been revealed yet. There will be a demo at the Jump Festa from December 20-21 (if you happen to be Tokyo at the time, that is).

There has also been no Western localization announcement. Considering how Square Enix doesn't seem to want to bring DQ games over anymore, however, Theatrhythm Dragon Quest may not be a sure thing on our shores. Let's wait and see.
