Nintendo has shown off new gameplay for The Legend of Zelda on Wii U, which they confirmed for a 2015 release.
During a demonstration revealed at The Game Awards in Las Vegas tonight, Shigeru Miyamoto sat down with Zelda director Eiji Aonuma to discuss progress made since the E3 reveal earlier this year.
The game will boast a vast map which would take "a very long time to walk", and horses have been programmed to avoid running into trees and other objects, Link can also shoot arrows from Epona's back, as well as swing swords. Zelda's map will appear on the Wii U GamePad, which can be used to pinpoint locations on the map to explore.
You can also pick and eat apples.
It was also confirmed that Star Fox will be released before Zelda.
