Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin Brings Game To PS4, Xbox One, And PC

November 25, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

The PC and eight gen versions do come with upgraded graphics, but even older owners get upgrades.

Dark Souls 2 is getting a rerelease for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC, called Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin.

This package will include all three previously released DLC packs. Furthermore, the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC versions will get upgraded graphics, sound and performance, as well as an increase to 6 maximum online players per session.

·         From Software is adding these features to the game, that will also be sent to existing owners via patch:

·         Additional NPCs

·         Game balancing parameter adjustments

·         Improved item descriptions

·         Improved online matchmaking

Will Dark Souls 2: Scholar of the First Sin receive new content as well? From Software did not reveal any such plans, but this does not mean they have nothing planned down the line. We’ll keep you updated when more information, including a release date, is revealed.
