There are still quite a few anticipated games coming out this year. Among that list is the next installment to Far Cry 6. We haven’t seen this game in a little while now, but that should change this week. A new hype teaser trailer for the Gamescom Opening Night Live stream is available. In that trailer, we get a slew of video game scenes that should be appearing at some point within the event. However, opening up that trailer alone was Far Cry 6.
After waiting on a new update or trailer to release, it looks like we’ll get something from Ubisoft at Gamescom. We don’t know just what all will be unveiled, but since we’re getting closer to the release date of this game, it’s bound to be a relatively lengthy showcase. We might get new gameplay footage along with some finer details. For instance, we’re waiting on system requirements for the PC platform. Fans are hopeful that whatever the showcase ends up being, it will be packed with enough content to hold them over until the game launches.
Still, the community online has been speculative. We’ve seen plenty of threads pop up suggesting that perhaps we’re going to see this game delayed. Of course, that’s speculation, and that came up before the Gamescom hype teaser trailer. Now that the game is finally showcased again, it might ease some fan’s worry over a delayed announcement popping up. Then again, some fans are okay if this game does end up being delayed to ensure that at launch, the product is not full of bugs.
Fortunately, Gamescom is this week, and we can expect plenty of exciting video game announcements or updates. In addition, viewers can tune into the Gamescom Opening Night Live event on August 25, 2021, at 11 AM PT. To view the stream, you’ll want to head over to the stream hosted on thegameawards YouTube channel right here. In the meantime, you can check out the hype teaser trailer we’re referring to in the video embedded above.
