Far Cry 4 PC Specifications and New Trailer Revealed

A new trailer for Far Cry 4 comes with new system specs.

Ten days from now, you'll have to make a tough decision: buy into the experience of Far Cry 4 or Dragon Age: Inquisition. Both games have their merits, but are completely different from one another. However, they are alike in that they both come from a series that has improved drastically over time. Far Cry 3 was by far the most well rounded experience of the franchise so far, and if the trailers and such being thrown around for the series' fourth iteration are any indication, we're going to see that upward trend continue.

The PC version of Far Cry 4 is downright beautiful. We're sure that the console versions won't lag too far behind, but a new trailer showing what the game is capable of really shows us what's in store come November 18. Take a peek at it below:

Furthermore, the PC system specifications list has been released. There are both optimal and minimum settings available for you to peruse:

Minimum

  • Supported OS – Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8/8.1 (64bit versions only)
  • Processor – Intel Core i5-750 @ 2.6 GHz or AMD Phenom II X4 955 @ 3.2 GHz
  • Memory – 4GB
  • Video Card – NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD5850 (1GB VRAM)
  • Direct X – Version 11
  • Hard Drive – 30 GB available space
  • Sound Card – DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card with latest drivers

Optimal

  • Supported OS – MS Windows 7 SP1, MS Windows 8/8.1 (64bit versions only)
  • Processor – Intel Core i5-2400S @ 2.5 GHz or AMD FX-8350 @ 4.0 GHz or better
  • Memory – 8GB
  • Video Card – NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon R9 290X or better (2GB VRAM)
  • Direct X – Version 11
  • Hard Drive – 30 GB available space
  • Sound Card – DirectX 9.0c compatible sound card with latest drivers
