Final Fantasy 14, the biggest MMORPG in Final Fantasy's universe, has received a brand new content update. This comes in the form of patch 2.4, which is dubbed 'Dreams of Ice.' This new content will allow you to explore new areas, fight Shiva in a new primal battle, and continue the game's main storyline. The 'Dreams of Ice' tagline must be relevant in some way to this fight with Shiva. You'll also be able to achieve new ranks in PvP, for those of you who care more about that sort of thing. Also added were the Ninja job and Rogue class, which should change up gameplay enough between both PvP and PvE to keep everyone interested. The hallmark of a good MMO is to continually change to suit your market and Final Fantasy 14 appears to be trying very hard to achieve that goal.

- The continuation of the main scenario
- New rogue class and ninja job
- New Shiva primal battle (Hard / Extreme modes)
- New Snowcloak dungeon
- Dungeon hard mode: Sastasha
- Dungeon hard mode: The Sunken Temple of Qarn
- The addition of new housing subdivision, further increasing the amount of housing plots available
