Persona 4 Turns Into an Anime

July 28, 2011 by Ian Miles Cheong

Also known as Shin Megami Tensei 4, Atlus’s Persona 4 will be getting a slick anime treatment by Production IG.

Tales of Vesperia and Dead Space aren't the only games to receive an animated film treatment. Persona 4 will also be treated to an animated film, courtesy—well, not exactly—of Production IG. The studio is best known for its work on Ghost in the Shell and Blood+.

The Shin Megami Tensei: Persona 4 anime will be a full length TV series beginning October, and is helmed by Seiji Kishi who worked on Ragnarok The Animation and Angel Beats!. The voice actors from the Japanese version of the game will reprise their roles as Daisuke Namikawa (renamed Yu Narukami), Showtaro Murikubo, Yui Horie, and Ami Koshimizu.

A full length trailer for the animation has been released ahead of its TV debut.
