The embattled game PC game studio 3D Realms has not had it easy these last few years. The birthplace of the Duke Nukem franchice had to significantly cut back on staff due to lack of funds, and then there were those series of episodes in which the company and Gearbox Software sued each over Duke Nukem Forever rolayaties and IP ownership. But now, under the guidance of new owners Interceptor Entertainment, 3D Realms is ready climb back up and foster new talent in its ranks.
To celebrate the team's renewed commitment, they have launched 3D Realms Anthology, a massive collection of nearly every game (save notably for Max Payne and Prey) to bear the 3D Realms or Apogee (as the company was formerly known) names. The 32 titles in the set, which are all DRM-free, include Commander Keen, Wolfenstein 3D, Shadow Warrior, and of course all the good Duke Nukem games. Normally priced at $39.99, you can purchase the anthology for just $19.99 within the next 48 hours.
