Gearbox's PR and Marketing guy AdamF has posted on the official Duke forums about the upcoming "Hail to the Icons Parody Pack". The package, which will be released for free on all 3 significant platforms for First Access Club members who registered before the game launched, will include the following:
Three All-New Modes – Freeze Tag, Hot Potato, and King of the Hill.
Four New Maps – Call of Duke (Call of Duty parody), Sandbox (Toy Soldier parody?), Inferno (no idea), and 2Forts1Bridge (TF2 parody)
It's a shame Gearbox isn't working on patching the game up to make actually, you know, worth playing, instead of this, but whatever, it's not like they actually cared about the IP to begin with, right? Right.
