Frontier Developments has announced that the Beta test of its upcoming game, Elite: Dangerous, is to receive an update that brings the game up to version 2.05, bringing with it a host of new tweaks to refine the experience. The game received a huge update recently that brought it into Beta 2, which included new ships and outposts, among other enhancements.
Beta 2.05 improves upon the game’s loading times, “in hyperspace, starting the game and coming out of supercruise,” wrote the developer on Twitter.
The developer did not mention any other improvements for the upcoming patch, which is expected to be fully detailed upon its release. It’s set to go live today at 11:50 BST for all players.
Elite: Dangerous is set for release in Q4 2014 but you can buy access to the beta right now for $75/£50/€60, with backers receiving a discount on checkout.
