Microsoft has no plans to release DLC for Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox 360. Any future downloads for the game will only be available for the Xbox One version of the game.
Forza Rewards perks, which grant loyal players additional vehicles and credits, will only be available in the Xbox One version as well. In addition, progress made in the Xbox 360 version won't count towards your overall Forza Rewards Tier Level.
On the game's official forums, Forza community manager Brian Ekberg commented, "We are currently planning to release DLC only for the Xbox One version of Forza Horizon 2. Also, Forza Rewards benefits are only available in the Xbox One version of Forza Horizon 2. This means that Xbox 360 players will not receive Forza Rewards credits or cars.
"In addition, progress in the 360 version of Forza Horizon 2 does not count towards your Forza Rewards Tier Level score. Only progress in the Xbox One version of Forza Horizon 2 will count towards your overall Forza Score (and Tier Level) in Forza Rewards."
The first DLC car pack for Forza Horizon 2 on Xbox One was released yesterday but some fans expressed disappointment that the Xbox 360 news was not revealed prior to the game's launch.
