A fan explains how to get to and setup the newest loot cave in Destiny after the last patch, dubbed by fans as loot cave 2.0.
It’s in Old Russia. The loot in question are legendary Engrams.
The minute you drop down on Old Russia, you head straight to the building in front of you. When you get there, check the cliffs to the right and take out any mobs you see. Afterwards, go back to the building you just went to, and make sure there are no mobs outside. Walk down the stairs and take out the cave mobs.
This is where the trick begins. Go to the stairs on the doorway (not the one you came from, the one on the opposite end of the room), and stand a couple of steps down. When you see the red blip come up on your radar, you go back up and take out the mob that’s just formed. These are the guys that will give you Engrams. Take them out, go back down the stairs, and repeat as much as you want.
There is an event that may unceremoniously end your grinding, at least until you fix it. Every seven to ten minutes, there is a chance a ship will spawn on top. You will hear it, and once you do, that ends the glitch, and your loot run.
That’s because the ship dropped a fresh mob on the cliffs to the right of the building you’re on. You or a friend will have to go out and take out that mob before you can reactivate the loot drop again.
