Activision has announced on the PlayStation Blog that Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare will be cross-buy on PS3 and PS4 until March 31st, 2015.
Advanced Warfare launches on November 3rd and if you pre-load the Digital Base Edition, Digital Pro-Edition, or Season Pass on either console, you'll be able to download the game for free on the other platfrom from that date.
The publisher says:
"For full game free upgrades, this offer expires on March 31st, 2015. This means that you must buy/redeem Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare digitally on or before this date to be eligible for the free upgrade. All DLC purchased for in-game use, including Season Pass, upgrades for free with no deadline."
In addition, all stats and in-game progress upgrades will transfer for free between the two version and there will be no deadline on this feature.
Yesterday, developer Sledgehammer discussed the map-making process and revealed some new screenshots of the shooter. Studio co-founder Michael Condrey has also revealed that the game will not feature prestige tokens.
Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare is also in development for PC, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
