This video shows off the massive, epic, and most impressive Minecraft mod I've yet seen. In fact, it's more like a full-on expansion than a mod of the original game. The Aether Mod takes you to the Aether World, a heavenly kingdom set in the skies of Minecraft, complete with its own blocks, craftable items, dungeons, enemies, special items, and more.
Really, Notch and co. should just go ahead and hire these guys to work on expanding the core game itself. It really is that good. You can download the actual mod (and support the developers if you want) here.
