The Evil Within Shares Complete Minimum PC Requirements

Bethesda recognizes the need to share full specs so that more people can play the game.

Bethesda have decided to update fans with complete minimum PC spec requirements for The Evil Within.

Bethesda explained that they did listen to the feedback from fans after announcing they would not give full specs at all save the 4 GB RAM requirement. This has not been scaled down, but they now recognize to share more information so that the game could be played on a wider range of PCs, and ultimately, go through more players.

These are the complete minimum requirements for the game on PC:

OS: Windows 7 or 8.1

GPU: Nvidia GTX 460 or an equivalent 1 GB VRAM card

CPU: Intel Core i7 or an equivalent 4+ core processor

RAM: 4 GB

HDD: 50 GB

The game is now available for pre-order on Steam, so if you were waiting on this information, and now know for sure your rig can run it, you can go ahead and get it now. You can read the game’s other requirements here.

The Evil Within will be released on October 14, for Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
