Back in June earlier this year, E3 2014 graced us all with its annual presence. While there were many big announcements, one stood among the event's elite: Far Cry 4's announcement, with an awesome trailer to boot.
Now that a few months have passed, and the game's developer having remained so quiet, a new trailer has hit the web and offers a quick look at the game's less quirky, more action-oriented side – you even get to find out the fate of your bus mate, who was with you in the original trailer.
At any rate, the game looks to be taking full advantage of its locale. In just this one and a half minute long trailer, a host of different environments and enemies can be seen. You'll be trekking across mountains and driving vehicles through luscious woodlands.
While the human enemies in the game appear to be pretty standard, it appears you will have to tangle with the likes of tigers and elephants. Looks like you had better bring some firepower, which it does not appear Far Cry 4 will be lacking in.
The real standout part of the trailer comes in the form of Pagan Min. The character is voiced by Troy Baker, who you might know from bombshell titles like The Last of Us and Bioshock Infinite. Baker and his performance of Min again steal the show, creating a genuine feeling of danger and quirkiness.
While it will be hard to top Far Cry 3 and the crazy Vaas Montenegro, we can wait in anticipation for Ubisoft to reveal more about Min, who is shaping up to be quite the character.
