Bandai Namco has revealed that Dark Souls 2’s last part of the Lost Crowns Trilogy has been delayed.
Dubbed the Crown of the Ivory King, the DLC will now release on September 30 on Xbox Live Marketplace and Steam, and October 1 on PlayStation Network. No reason has been given for the delay.
There are few details regarding this DLC. We know it is set in a snowy backdrop. Inside an ancient temple with high walls, you will have to contend with the elements and low visibility, on top of the hollow feeling evoked by the empty temple. The creatures that dwell within have the hometown advantage, and are more capable than you of traversing the location.
We don’t know anything about the Ivory King yet, and that mystery could either be really exciting or not interesting you. Coming fresh off of the Crown of the Old Iron King, players really don’t know what to expect.
