Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Pre-Order Discount Dissected

September 15, 2014 by Ian Miles Cheong

Get 20% off on next month’s third installment of the Borderlands series

A new developer diary surfaced today from Gearbox on The Borderlands: Pre-Sequel, making sure players keep the title close in mind for its upcoming October 14th release. (The game definitely has its fair share of competitors this fall, especially in the FPS co-op market.)

Players in the US looking to pick up the third installment to the Borderlands franchise (actually slotted in between Borderlands 1 and Borderlands 2 in terms of storytelling) can grab an easy $12 off discount at digital retailer 2game.

  • Borderlands 2: The Pre-Sequel on sale for $47.99
  • NA coupon: BLPS-12USD
  • UK/EU coupon: 20OFF-RELAUNCH
  • Steam key. Pre-Order Bonus: "Shock Drop Slaughter Pit"

The digital Steam key edition comes with the pre-order bonus DLC "Shock Drop Slaughter Pit". While descriptions of the DLC aren't very detailed just yet, it reads like another arena where you'll get to deal with waves of enemies and earn experience and gear as you progress through the survival battle arena.

Beyond Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel, 2game also has a few other 2K Games titles on the 20% off pre-order chopping block:

  • Civilization: Beyond Earth for $39.99 after coupon CIVBE-20OFF
  • NBA 2K15 for $44.99 after coupon NBA-25OFF
  • Both are Steam keys and comes with their respective pre-order bonuses.
