The system requirements for Ryse: Son of Rome for Steam have been revealed. It is confirmed that PC players will be able to run the game on 4K if they want to.
Of course, you do not need to have a 4K capable PC to play the game. In fact, it will run at a minimum i3 2.8 GHz, and a dual core CPU with hyperthreading. It is possible that the game’s flexibility on PC comes from its use of DirectX 11.
Our source has shared three sets of requirements for the benefit of players; a minimum set to run the game, a recommended spec for 4K, and a separate recommended spec for PCs that won’t display it in 4K. I have added in equivalent specs for the Xbox One console, as well as the game’s download file size, for comparison’s sake.
