We have seen a few notable game developers become incredibly successful and kept tabs on by fans worldwide for future game releases. However, lately, we’re seeing more of these notable industry leaders take their leave from studios to craft up their development team. That’s exactly what’s going on with Casey Hudson who was formerly known for his work at the incredibly popular RPG studio, BioWare.
As mentioned, there have been a few notable industry veterans who have started their studio up. We can look back at Hideo Kojima after he left Konami and crafted up Kojima Productions. Likewise, another notable developer, Keiichiro Toyama who was known for Silent Hill and Gravity Rush had recently left Sony after decades to build up his development team, Bokeh Game Studio. Now Casey Hudson had left BioWare only to build up his studio as well which we’re eager to see his upcoming video game project.
Again, Casey Hudson might be best known as the director behind Mass Effect but we have recently found out that Casey Hudson is now the head of a new game development team called Humanoid Studios. The developer took to his personal Twitter account to reveal the studio and the fact that they are looking to hire several talented individuals to help with their upcoming projects. Unfortunately, we don’t know just what those projects are at the moment.
Casey Hudson has quite the following and having more control of whatever this next project will be about should pique quite a few fans interest. Still, it might be a good ways away before we know anything about their debut title release. Regardless, we’ll have to keep tabs on Humanoid Studios to see just what the studio ends up delivering first to the masses worldwide. Perhaps we’ll get some slight teases shortly since the studio was just unveiled.
