Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel DLC Plans Touched Upon, Might Include Playable Handsome Jack

September 1, 2014 by Tony Ponce

The $30 Season Pass won’t include the Shock Drop Slaughter Pit pre-order content.

Are you ready to fork over $30 for the Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel Season Pass? During their PAX panel, several members of Gearbox Software announced their plans for post-game content, which of course includes pricing for the Season Pass. With that in your pocket, you'll be able to pick up four upcoming DLC packs featuring new maps, characters, and more. One thing you won't receive is the Shock Drop Slaughter Pit content, which is currently exclusive to pre-orders but will be made available to purchase at a later date.

The DLC hasn't been finalized, but one idea is to make the not-yet-a-villain Handsome Jack a playable character. Well… not exactly. You'll play as Jack's body double. But it's still just an idea at this point, although one that may very well come to fruition.

Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel will arrive on Windows, PS3, and Xbox 360 on October 14.
