Mortal Kombat X was shown off at PAX over the weekend, with duels between Raiden and Kano, and Scorpion and Sub Zero showcased for all to see. These are among the characters that have been confirmed to return to the game since its announcement earlier this year.
The gameplay was recorded on a new-gen platform like the Xbox One and PlayStation 4, although it’s unclear exactly which platform it’s been recorded on. The footage is in HD, so be sure to watch it in full screen.
As the tenth game in the series, Mortal Kombat X is poised to mix up the combat with the introduction of a new variant system that provides each character with at least a trio of different variants, providing way more variety in battle than ever before.
Mortal Kombat X will be out for the PC, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One sometime next year.
