Call of Duty Advanced Warfare: Golden Gun, Exoskeleton Abilities Details

August 22, 2014 by Ryan Parreno

You will not be able to use the exoskeleton abilities frivolously.

Sledgehammer Games has revealed a new gold gun for Call of Duty Advanced Warfare.

Aside from the gold on the body of the gun, some styling seems to have been done on the magazine and the stock. In real life, these kinds of guns are made for display purposes only. It is interesting to have such a gun available to use in-game. Sledgehammer and Activision have shared no details regarding this gun for now. It is possible that other guns can be styled and decked out in gold as well, or that this is one particular unique gun.

Michael Condrey also clarified a feature that the exoskeletons have. None of the exoskeleton enabled abilities recharge. They all run via batteries that drain while being used, and each battery lasts per life.

@RuggedSavior none of them recharge. They are all based off a battery that drains on use. The battery is per life.

Some fans did not have a clear idea if the battery exoskeleton recharged at all, so this clarification was necessary. It is clear now that the exoskeleton abilities cannot be used frivolously. This affects not only the difficulty level for single player, but online multiplayer. Some professional Call of Duty players are sure to put the exoskeletons to the limit to calibrate how much they can be used in tournaments.

Call of Duty Advanced Warfare will be released on November 4 on Windows, PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One.
